Feel, Felt, Found is a story about feeling alone and reaching out to others.

The lonely protagonist is stuck in an everyday trance, just letting the days pass by them. One night, they find themselves falling deep into their dream world. However is this world truly a dream? Or is it their worst nightmare?

The story was built upon my own feelings during the COVID 19 lockdowns in Ireland. I ended up in almost a trance doing the same thing day after day but having regular calls with my friends and checking up on each other was a huge help mentally!

I wanted to channel all those negative feelings and anxiousness I used to feel into this film. The Main Character goes through a lot but is saved by their friend in the end - just like I was!

About the Artist

My name is Jayme Murphy and I am a 4th Year Animation and Illustration student from Galway.

I have a huge love for mixed media animation ever since I saw what it could do in series like 'Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica'. I also always enjoyed the look of stop motion animation so why not try to combine that?

When I started at TUS, Athlone, I knew nothing much about how Animation worked, just that I wanted to work in it! I have learned so much over these past four years and despite everything going wrong the last few months, even managed to complete this film - something that would have been unimaginable years ago!
