• During my time at TUS, Athlone, I studied both Animation and Illustration. We covered Traditional/Digital Frame by Frame, Cut-out, Stop Motion, Flash Animation and storyboarding as well as comics, layouts/backgrounds, character design and book design on the illustration side.

Compositing for 2D Animation             National Talent Academy of Animation/Magpie 6 Media

June 2022

• I took part in this short compositing course over two days in June. We covered the basics of compositing in After Effects using shot tests from a Mixed Media animated show that the studio was working on. We covered things like camera moves, particle effects and the 3D layer layouts/camera.

Stop Motion Animation for Product Photography                        Creative Futures Academy/IADT

July 2022

• This course took place over two weekends in July and covered both Product Photography and Stop Motion. During the course we covered the basics of Dragonframe, Camera Settings, Product Compositions for Photography, Lighting and the basics of Stop Motion Animation.

• Taking place over three days is August, this course covered the basics of starting out in a career in 2D Animation. We covered portfolio expectations, how to manage tax and finance as a freelance artist, cover letter and C.V. writing and more!

Other relevant skills/experience​

• I was a key member in organising my college year's physical exhibition and website

• I have trained in First Aid within both the Order of Malta and through Paramedic courses run during my time in school

• I was a volunteer for Kilkenny Animated and helped to give  guided tours of Cartoon Saloon 

• I achieved a First Class Honours in BA (Hons) in Animation and Illustration at TUS, Athlone
